"I'm gonna feel like i'm going to Hogwarts when i go to college."-Sara.

That is what Sara said last night when we were looking at colleges haha. We hung out last night, and all day today. it was really fun!! :) My mom let me drive halfway there and halfway back because she is so freaking paranoid, but hey, at least i'm driving a little. Sara took pictures of me today, here are a few of my favs :)

Scary stuff.

My stepsister just called my house phone, wanting to talk to my stepdad, because she was a little shaken up. Over what? Guys trying to get her to get in their truck that smelled of weed, and alcohol, while she was leaving work. She's 19 and lives in Clarksville. That's really scary to me... that you can just be trying to get home, and there's crazy people that want to all sorts of bad stuff. Why can't crazy gross guys stay at home and use the hands God gave them so they leave innocent girls alone? It'd make all women feel a little safer when they walk around at night. The worst part is, is that, if she'd had a guy or another girl with her, they would've left her alone. Another reason i love living in a small town. I would be safe, walking to the parking lot anywhere in Chapel Hill, if there was a creepy guy, i'm sure i'd know someone in the parking lot, or they'd know my family. Also, another reason why i'm scared to go to college. Cause that happens all the time to girls... it's awful. I think it's sad that the world is like that. Which is why i'm gonna get some BA self defense skills, and no one is going to screw with me :)

So yeah.

I miss thinking my parents were the best people on this earth.
And then about three years ago, i realized that they aren't. That maybe, no one has a good family life. That we all just pretend we're okay. Some days, like today, i wish that my family was different, and we weren't so dysfunctional. Then some days i love my family with all my heart and i couldn't be happier. The truth is, even when they're being like this, i still love them, and would do anything for them. But, that's how everything and everyone is i guess. It's not always good, because if it'd be too easy. Sometimes i just wish the good would outweigh the bad..

This blog is gonna be about a few things, so yeah. haha

My cat was just laying in my lap and i was petting her, and she fell asleep and she started snoring! It was so freaking cute! Morgan is a pretty funny cat, even though she's a weirdo, and spoiled, but she's cutee :)
So, anyways, i'm leaving for my dad's later, i'm going up there for about a week, by myself. Because my brother is going to Denzel's new house in SC. I might have to go to my dad's work some, to keep from dying of boredom. lol he doesn't have internet :( so no blogging, or anything :( but if there's something worthy of talking about then i will write about it and just make a big blog of my week when i get back :) I'm excited about spending time with my dad, though :) I'll blog when i get back! :)

DMV

Okay, so today, i went back to the DMV to try and get my permit again, and i got it!! :) I'm happy. :)  But, it always takes forever there. Anyone who's ever been to any DMV knows it takes twice as long as necessary to do anything there. lol but i'm excited to actually drive somewhere! :) Tomorrow, i'm hanging out with one of my best guy friends in the worldd and i'm excited to see him :)

Cleaning out my closet.

Today, when i woke up, i already had what i was suppose to do yesterday on my mind. I actually did it today, i cleaned out my closet and dresser. So, four bags to good will later, dust up my nose, and old memories brought back up, it's done! :) I feel accomplished, i've been meaning to get rid of clothes that i didn't wear anymore and stuff for awhile but i just kept putting it off. I found a lot of cool stuff, that i'd forgotten about, but my favorite was definitely the pink Power Ranger doll i found :) It's now on my shelf. I also got my books on a shelf! Finally. haha  Sara will be happy :) I STILL have to clean my room and stuff but that'll be easy. :) i just needed a break to eat cause i've been doing this since like, one, and it's 3:38 now. So, i should get back to it. :)

Happy father's day! I wish i could see my dad today, but he lives in Kentucky. So, i just called him and we talked for awhile. Instead I'm spending the day with my step dad, Ricky. Who, honestly is a lot better of a dad than my own, but my dad's a good dad. :) I love them both more than words can say! :)

Happy Birthday, bubba :)

Today, my brother turned 18. He is a brat, and rude, and annoying at times, but he is the best big brother in the world :) He's the only one i'll ever have, so we should at least try to get along. lol This picture is from his prom :) We had a party. Brittney,Zach,Ronald,Triton,Eli,TJ,Johnny and Jed were here :) it was really fun, Zach brought his puppy Dooley, and he is the cutest thing in the world!! :) That's pretty much all i have to report from today :)

Me, Sara, and Paige went to go see Super 8, it was pretty freakin' awesome. I jumped and cussed, a few times. lol I laughed too :) If you haven't seen it, you should!
The first preview we saw was Taylor Lautner's new movie, Abduction, and it looks freaking awesome! Despite the fact that i would sit through any movie that i got to see that boy's face or body. haha. it looks pretty bad ass :) The new Transformers and Harry Potter look pretty bad ass, as well :)
I had a really good day!
Tomorrow, my brother will turn 18... which is insane. But, we're having a party :) It'll be fun.

I just read A twisted fairytale's blog, about panties. I laughed, and agreed.
Ever since my cousin Mindy took me to Victoria's Secret when i was thirteen, I have loved panties. If i go to the mall, I always end up with a VS bag and five pairs of new panties, my mom always gets mad at me for wasting so much money on panties, but cute underwear can make my mood better, no joke. :)
I know at least three other people now who feel the same :)

Eat Pray Love

I'm sitting here, watching Eat Pray Love. I love this movie<3 it has a great message, too.
Everyone should definitely watch it, it's one of those movies that makes you laugh, cry, and think.
Julia Roberts did an awesome job.
My favorite quote from it is, "God dwells within in you, as you."

Faith

I couldn’t come up with a better title for this blog. but, right now i’m reading Soul Surfer by Bethany Hamilton, the surfer who lost her arm in a shark attack when she was 13 and got back in the water a month later.

She has so much faith in God it’s amazing. I’m a Christian and i believe in God firmly, but her’s so much stronger. I now have a goal to be a better person, and a better Christian because of her. She’s such an inspiration. Everything else on this blog has been negative, and i don’t want to be like that anymore. I’m promising myself to work harder at being a Christian from now on.

I love this verse, it was in Soul Surfer.
