Faith

I couldn’t come up with a better title for this blog. but, right now i’m reading Soul Surfer by Bethany Hamilton, the surfer who lost her arm in a shark attack when she was 13 and got back in the water a month later.
She has so much faith in God it’s amazing. I’m a Christian and i believe in God firmly, but her’s so much stronger. I now have a goal to be a better person, and a better Christian because of her. She’s such an inspiration. Everything else on this blog has been negative, and i don’t want to be like that anymore. I’m promising myself to work harder at being a Christian from now on.
I love this verse, it was in Soul Surfer.
“These words I speak to you are not incidental additions to your life, homeowner improvements to your standard living. They are foundational words, words to build a life on. If you work these words into your life, you are like a smart carpenter who built his house on a solid rock. Rain poured down, the river flooded, a tornado hit- but nothing moved that house. it was fixed to the rock. But if you just use my words in the Bible studies and don’t work them into your life, you are like a stupid carpenter who his house on the sandy beach. When a storm rolled in and the waves came up, it collapsed like a house of cards.” - Matthew 7:24-27
It’s so true. :) well, God Bless.

  2. Yeah, it is! It's probably the book that's inspired me the most. She should definitely write more just about her life. :)
