Maggie Stiefvater!

Today, i met  my favorite author, Maggie Stiefvater! She's so awesome!! She's an amazing writer and one day i hope to have half the fan base and talent she has. :) This is way too lacking for what i want to say, but i'm so tired. I'm definitely going to bed early. I'll post more about her tomorrow. :)

Expectations and dissapointments.

So, fair warning. This is going to be a negative post, sorry in advance!
I'm upset right now, because i was talking about driving and stuff and my mom said that i might not be able to get a car. And THIS IS NOT BASHING MY MOM. Cause i know she can't afford a car. But, i'd always thought, cause no one ever told me any different, that my parents would get me a car. Apparently, not. Which is so unfair to me, my brother got a car. Granted both of the cars he's had weren't running when he got them, Ricky had to fix them. I could've been saving up for so freaking long and i could by myself a car. I have no problem with that. But no one ever told me to. So now i'm just freaking screwed and stuck and this freaking house for who knows how long, and the thought of sitting here for the rest of high school is somewhat unbearable.. I just don't understand the communication in my family.

Sleep has become my enemy.

So, this week i was gonna try my hardest to get back into a semi normal sleep routine. And, i have failed, miserably. Thanks to Teen Nick having 90's shows on all week, i've stayed up late still, and slept late still. Tonight, i'm actually tired, and would LOVE to go to sleep, but my brain is refusing. So i just decided to do what i always do, when in doubt, write, and listen to music. :)

Sophmore year, here i come.

I was really unhappy with my schedule at first, because i didn't get in yearbook, just because i wasn't there one day. :( but, after talking to Dylan, i have three classes with him first semester! So, i'm a lot happier now. :) I think sophmore year is gonna be a lot harder than freshman year, but fun. And, we just put in our orders for football shirts! I'm really excited to see what the boys got this year. It might be a long, hard season and we might not win that much, but i'm hoping they'll surprise us. :) We just have to play all four quarters and not quit cause we're up, or down. Which, we tend to do. So, over all, i think sophmore year will be good. :)

just one little thing that changed my life.

Today, middle school football practice started. My little cousin Austin is going to be a manager. And she was freaking out. I remember the first day of practice my 7th grade year, i was scared too and i had no idea what to do. Once i got the hang of things, i LOVED it. Except for sweating my butt off when it was still hot. It was worth every second. I would re-live that season if i could. All the blood, sweat and tears that came with it. It made me appreciate athletes, especially the football boys so much. That's why i get so mad when people say that football players are all assholes. Especially people that don't know a single one of them. I loved almost everyone on that team that year. Yeah, some guys were rude, and pervs. But, there was only a few. That year i became more confident and talked to guys, and had lots of guy friends. I miss it so freaking much. I'm probably going to be a manager next year, but i don't know. Anyways, my point to this post is, that one little decision started my love for football, and made me more confident. So, i hope Austin can come out of this season with the same experience. :)

Words that i'm pretty sure only my family says.

Me and my friend Brandi were talking about funny pronunciations that we say, that she doesn't. (She's Canadian) And, it made me think of weird words that i've only heard people in my family say. lol

• Idgit. It's some form of idiot, and i call people it, cause my family says it. lol
• Oh, my living God/Lord. It's a memay saying. haha
• You, Turkey Buzzard! Another memay saying. 
• Hauseapple. like, Slow down there hauseapple. (i'm not even sure what it means, but i've caught myself saying it. lol)
• Shit the damn bed. bahaha. My mom says that when she's mad about something. 
• Conniption fit. I don't know anyone else that says this, but i know other people do, cause i googled it to spell it. haha. It's like a hissy fit. :)
• Son of a biscuit eater.

New cellular devicee.

So, today i got a new phone. We now have straight talk which is Wal Mart and prepaid. It's $45 dollars a month  for unlimited everythingg. Before now, i've never had internet on my phone, so i like it. lol and my phone is pretty nice. :) still getting use to it. Other than that, i didn't do much of anything today, but it was a good day, nonetheless. :)

i don't understand why..

So, tonight i went to the tractor pull with my stepsister, and it ended up being pretty fun. When we first got there we saw this cute guy, and he was probably a little older than me, but still in high school. She was going to get me to talk to him, but i was scared. like, legit, scared. Just to talk to him... i don't know why i have such a confidence issue, but i wish it would go awayyy. It's not like the guy even knew me, or would ever talk to me again after tonight if i didn't offer, cause i'm definitely NOT looking for a bf, any time soon.
That's what's keeping me up, and the fact that i can't get comfyy.

Things we take for granted.

I sent my friends a text telling them that i don't have to have surgery today. Dylan texted me back and told me thank you. and i asked him why, and he said because he was having a bad day, but i made him realize that he takes so much for granted, and i told him we all do. Two things this makes me think.
1. That people get inspired by me, to me, it's just a normal thing that i deal with. But i've had so many people tell me that i'm such a strong person, I don't think i am. But, it makes me happy knowing that i impact people's lives like that.
2. That we do take so much for granted. Like, everyone we love. They could be gone tomorrow, and the majority of us get mad at each other for such stupid, pety, things. I've gotten mad at some of my really good friends, for such stupid reasons. And, my family, i'm so lucky to have a big family that loves me, even though they're absolutely insane. They're ALWAYS here. And, i have friends now, that i know i can always count on. :) I love y'all, with all my heart!!
We take the things we're lucky to have for granted, like, just being able to eat, so many people in this world don't get enough to eat because they don't have enough money or whatever, and i think that's really sad. Those aren't things you can think about on a daily basis, because if you did, you'd be depressed, and life is way too short. So, my mission from now on, is to be more positive about my life, and to make other people happy :)

Good news, and bad news.

So today i went to my orthopedic, because i thought i might have to have surgery. But, Thank the Lord, i don't!! :D So, i've been in a good mood all day due to that. But when i come home, my computer has a virus. :( I'm on my mom's laptop right now, while mine does a scan, hopefully, it can get rid of it itself. But, if not, my mom should be able to get it fixed. If not, i'll just have to use this one when i can. but, I'll live, cause all my stuff is backed-up on a flash drive :)
A goal for this week:Finish Lord of flies for school so i can start on Forever!

10. Elizabethtown. I haven't even seen all of  this, but from the phone scene, i was in love. :) 

9. The Sandlot. This movie, is adorable. and i love it so much. "You're killin' me smalls! You don't know who the Great BAMBINO is?!" :)

8.Fried Green Tomatoes. This movie is sooo good. I love everything about it, it's hilarious, it makes me think, smile, and cry, every time. Towanda is the coolest alter ego ever. And who couldn't love Idgie? If you haven't seen it, you need to, right now.

8. Remember The Titans. It has everything that highschool football is, and why i love it so much. "Leftside? Stongside." And yes, for those of you who haven't seen how guys act, that IS how they bond, at least in football. :)

6. It's a Wonderful Life. I'm aware that this movie is ancient, but i love it. :) 

5. 2 Fast 2 Furious. If you know me at all, you've probably heard me quote this movie. And i can quote, every line. I've been watching this movie since it came out. :) "Dude, why're you checkin' her out?' 'I'm not checkin out.' 'Yes, you were'. 'Okay, i was. Now shut up'. 'Don't tell me to shut up.' 'Both you girlies shut up, unbelievable.'" 

4. Footloose. I should thank my mom for this one, because she introduced me to it. I love everything about it. And i can't wait for the new one!

3. The Notebook. This is the best love story ever written, hands down. It makes me ball like a baby, laugh, smile and awhh, every single time. 

2. Into The Blue. This movie is currently in my DVD player. I can quote every line of it, too. :) I love me some Paul Walker and action. :) "I think it matters.' 'What matters?' 'I think it matters that he gave up the treasure for love.' *nods head.* 'what would you chose?' 'that's easy *make-out*, treasure.' *smack* 'you're an ass you wouldn't'" He doesn't. :)

1. Balto. Betcha' didn't see that coming. haha I love love love this movie. I still know all the words to it, and watch it at least once a month on my VCR :P. I remember sitting in front of my tv in my Elmo chair, howling whenever he does, at the end, and when the white wolf comes up. It's just my favorite, ever. :) It's ADORABLE my favorite part is when Balto and Jenna are checking on Rosie under the city, and he shows her the 'northern lights'. "Balto, those are just half empty bottles.' 'or half full, and the sun' (which is actually light from the dr's office) makes them look like the northern lights. 'it's beautiful.' Balto stares at her and says 'yeah, beautiful.'" :) i don't care that there dogs and a cartoon, still the cutest thing ever. :) And one of my favorite childhood memories. :)

Cleaning out memay's closet & new video.

Today i cleaned out my memay's closet, and it was an adventure. lol But, the main reason i went to her house is cause i was craving brownies REALLYY bad and she had some, so i made them. :) lol and then cleaned out her closet, and i found a LION KING PILLOW CASE!!! It's going on one of my pillows, because it's the cutest. :) That's pretty much all i did today. haha

So, i was  scrolling through my subs, and videos and stuff. and this girl that i'm subscribed to Strawburry17, and her videos are really good. And because she liked two videos i just found a new band, He Is We, and a girl on youtube that has good music :) and they both make me happy!! :) My new favorite song i think is I Wouldn't Mind by He Is We. :)

Today, was an over-all pretty good day for me. :) I'm feeling a lot happier lately, due to me and my mom getting along more, my friends, and just accepting a lot of things over the past couple of weeks, and I gotta say, I really hope things don't change. :)
This weekend i went to my dad's, and we saw Transformers, it was AMAZING! If you haven't seen it, you really should. :)
Today, I went swimming, and then just chilled at home, it was good. :) I finished the Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen, and i LOVED it. So much that i took a picture of this quote from it, that I'm always going to keep in mind. :)

Can't sleep.

Earlier i said i was going to go to bed early because i'm tired. And i am. But, i can't sleep no matter how hard i try. A million ideas and thoughts are running through my head. So, i decided to blog, and yeah.

Also, I'm going to have something all my own, with all my own ideas, possibly a youtube channel.... the idea is still forming. lol Of course, nothing is complete without some sort of help :)

Why i love this Small Town USA.

So, none of my friends understand why i love Chapel Hill so much. So, i'm going to tell everyone, why. :)

• I love that the majority of the people on this road, are people I love, granted they're my family, but it still counts. 
• Also, i know i'm never alone, which is aggravating at times, but i love them with all my heart, and i'm incredibly blessed to have them. :)
• I love that there's cows, on every way to get to town. 
• I love that it's quiet, and i don't have to worry about creeps.
• Yes, people do gossip here, but it wouldn't be any better in a different town.
• TRACTOR PULL<3
• Rocket Football. <3
• I can find literally everyone on my mom's side, lining the walls of Forrest. 
• My papa's barn.
• The creek.
• The way you can see the farm at Nana and Kickey's.
• The homecoming parade.
• Homecoming, period. :)

So, i can't think of anymore right now. I know we don't have alot to do here, but i think that will slowly change. Even though we don't, i still love it.

Falling asleep at 8 during the summer, like a loserr.

I fell asleep while watching TV at 8 tonight, because i didn't go to bed till one, and Brittney's dog, Dink woke me up jumping on the bed at 8:30. And we shopped today, so i was pretty tired. lol But, still i felt like a loser when a woke up, and even more so that i'm gonna crash for the night pretty soon! haha. But last night and today were good with Britto. :)

 I haven't blogged in a couple days, just because I haven't been on the computer. So, I'll just tell you  about my weekend :)
Saturday: I slept in late, cleaned, and went to Nashville to go out to eat with Granny Green, Mama, and Ricky. :)
Sunday: I got up early, went to Wally World with Ricky, and drove! I think i did pretty good, honestly :) Parking was hard, but i was able to get into a space, just a little crooked, after a few tries. There wasn't many people at walmart at nine in the morning, thankfully, so i could retry :) When we got home we just chilled until we got ready for the party. Which was so much fun! We celebrated the fourth last night, cause everyone has to go to work tomorrow, so it was better :) Kelley, my cousins friend, who has become a really good friend of mine was there, and she is always so fun!! :) I took half of her jello shot, and drank a little of her drink, so I think that counts as my first official alcohol consumption? cause i've had sips, but never much. But i didn't even get tipsy, so yeah. haha we had sparklers and poppers, and those were the most fun for me. lol my brother got bigger ones, but they weren't as fun for me. haha.
